How to Prepare for an Interview

You should begin your job search 3-6 months before you are ready to start working
It takes preparation, hard work, and knowledge to determine the right job for you
Once you find the right job for you, start preparing for an interview
Dress appropriately for the industry
Arrive early; 10 minutes prior to the interview start time
Practice maintaining good eye contact at home, so that you will have good eye contact during the interview
Prepare questions to ask the interviewer, before the interview so that way the interviewer knows you are interested

Correct Interview Dress

Male Interview Dress
Wear a suit that is a conservative color with a good quality tie and a long sleeved shirt. Wear dark socks with leather, lace-up, or business shoes, and a belt to match. Also you can wear a nice watch.
 

Female Interview Dress
Wear a two piece matched suit, and if its a skirt suit make sure the skirt is long enough. Wear dark colors, and underneath the suit wear a tailored blouse or a sweater. Shoes should be leather or fabric/ micro fiber.

Order of Resume

A resume should begin with your name and address. After that you should put opening headline and occupational title or objective. Next, you should list your education. Then comes the list of your qualifications. After that comes your experience highlights, then your work or employment history. Lastly you should put your honors and activities, and highlight the good things that you have accomplished.
